Q: How do I reserve my spot?
A: Booking is essential. Your place is confirmed once the AUD $450 non-refundable deposit is received.

Q: Can I pay in instalments?
A: Yes! You can split your payment in two, three or more instalments. The remaining balance is due 20 days (06/04) before the retreat start date.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: The AUD$450 deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation 60 days before the retreat 70% refundable.

No refund after 1st of March 2026, unless your spot is filled.

Bookings are for the stated period of the retreat. There are no refunds for an unused portion of the retreat. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of your Insurance Policy, you may be able to make a claim on your insurance.

Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Q: Which airport should I fly into?
A: International flights arrive at Kathmandu International Airport (KTM).

Q: How do I get to the retreat from Kathmandu?
A: Take a 30-minute domestic flight to Pokhara, then a 30-minute car transfer along a scenic, bumpy road to the retreat venue.

Q: Are transfers included?
A: Yes, a car transfers from Pokhara Airport or Pokhara town hotel to the retreat venue and back are included.

Q: Can I arrive early or stay after the retreat?
A: Absolutely! We recommend spending a day or two in Pokhara. Trekking tours, including the three-day Poon Hill trek, can be arranged with our Nepalese hosts.

Q: Do I need a visa for Nepal?
A: Yes, a tourist visa is required (AUD $60 for 14 days), available on arrival or online.

Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: Yes, it is essential to cover natural disasters, personal injury, or travel disruptions.

Q: What time is check in and check out?

A: You can check in at the venue from 1pm - retreat starts at 230pm. Check out is at 11am - retreat ends at 11am.

What should I expect when arriving in Kathmandu?
Kathmandu is a vibrant, bustling city full of life, history, and culture. For many visitors, it can feel overwhelming or even a bit of a cultural shock at first. The streets are busy, dirty, the sounds and smells are strong, and daily life moves at a different rhythm than what many are used to. We recommend keeping an open heart and mind, seeing it as part of the adventure, and if you’d prefer a gentler landing, consider heading directly to Pokhara after your international arrival.

Q: What type of accommodation is provided?
A: Comfortable lodging at the eco-village. Rooms are twin shared with another guest from the retreat.

Q: Are bathrooms en-suite?
A: Yes, rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Q: Is Wi-Fi available?
A: Yes, in communal areas.

“Hot showers and internet are available at the retreat. That said, please keep in mind we are nestled in a remote valley in Nepal. The charm of this experience is its simplicity, while comforts are provided, things may feel a little more rustic than you’re used to.”

Q: What kind of yoga or meditation practices are included?
A: Embodied rhythm, flow yoga (Vinyasa and Slow Flow), somatics, Restorative, Yin Yoga and meditation to reconnect with your body and cultivate inner presence.

Q: Are the classes suitable for beginners?
A: Yes! All levels are welcome. Practices are adaptable.

Q: Will there be free time or excursions?
A: Yes, including optional local treks. Plenty of time to rest and an opportunity to visit a small school located at walking distance from where we will stay.

Q: What type of meals are provided?
A: Wholesome, locally-sourced vegetarian meals are included.

Q: Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
A: Yes, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available. Please notify us in advance.

Q:Is coffee available?

A: Simple black coffee or coffee and milk are available in the mornings. The retreat space runs its own cafe, where you are welcome to purchase other variety of coffee and snacks.

Q: What meals are included during the retreat?
All meals are included once the retreat begins, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, and fresh fruit throughout the day. Meals are nourishing, vegetarian, and prepared with local produce to support your retreat journey.

Please note:

• The retreat starts at 2:30 pm on the arrival day, so breakfast and lunch before this time are not included. However, they can be purchased at the venue at your own cost.

• The retreat ends with a farewell brunch at 11:00 am on the final day. Any meals after this time are not included, but they can be purchased at the venue.

A list of what to pack and what to bring will be provided 2-3 months prior the retreat.

Q: What should I pack?

Q: Do I need to bring yoga equipment?
A: It is encouraged to bring a simple Yoga mat for your own use (a light weight Yoga mat from Kmart, where you can leave at the venue or bring it back with you), simple yoga mats and limited basic props are available.

Q: Do I need to be fit or experienced in yoga?
A: No experience is necessary. All practices are gentle and adaptable.

Q: How safe is trekking in the Annapurna Valley?
A: Guided treks are generally safe. Our hosts provide support for all excursions.

Yes, travel insurance is essential. Please ensure your policy covers medical care, personal injury, trip cancellations, and natural events. We recommend arranging insurance as soon as you’ve secured your spot.

What if I have a medical condition?
If you have a medical condition or are currently receiving treatment, please consult your doctor before booking. Let us know in advance of any needs so we can support you during the retreat.

Is it safe in the retreat area?
Yes, the retreat is held in a peaceful eco-village, cared for by our trusted Nepalese hosts. While the environment is rustic, it is welcoming and safe. Our team and hosts will be there to support you at all times.

Will there be hot showers and internet?
Yes! Hot showers and internet are available at the retreat. That said, remember we are nestled in a remote valley in Nepal. The charm of this experience is its simplicity, while comforts are provided, things may feel a little more rustic than you’re used to.

Q: Can I bring a friend or partner?
A: Yes, each guest must submit their own booking and deposit.

Q: Will there be internet/phone coverage?
A: Wi-Fi is available in communal areas; mobile coverage may be limited. Please refer to accommodation & facilities/ safety, for more information on internet.

Q: Is tipping expected?
A: Tipping is not required but appreciated if you wish.

Do I need to take part in all activities and trekking?
Not at all. Every practice, workshop, and trek is an invitation to deepen your experience, but nothing is ever compulsory. You are always welcome to rest, take it easy, or simply enjoy the beauty of the retreat space if you don’t feel like joining a particular activity.

For the safety and wellbeing of the group container, we ask that participants remain at the retreat during retreat days (leaving the venue is not permitted). On trekking days, it is important that we walk as a group to ensure everyone’s safety and to honour the shared journey we are taking together.

Q: What is the climate like?
A: The Annapurna Valley has mild to warm days and cool nights. Weather can be unpredictable, so layered clothing is recommended.

In Nepal, April and May mark the spring season, and it’s one of the most popular times to visit, especially for trekking in the Annapurna region.

Temperature:

• Pokhara & Annapurna Valley: Daytime temperatures are generally 20–28°C, while nights can drop to 10–15°C.

• Kathmandu: Slightly warmer in the day, around 22–27°C, cooler at night 12–16°C.

Q: When should I plan to arrive?

A: Depending on your flight, it’s recommended to spend at least one night in Kathmandu. The airport is very busy, and it can take 2–3 hours to get your visa and make your way to domestic departures.

Kathmandu city is full of incredible beauty, but it can also feel very busy and may be a bit of a cultural shock for some. Arrive with an open mind and heart, and you’ll be richly rewarded by its temples, streets, and vibrant energy.

Q: Can I arrive in Pokhara a few days before the retreat?
Yes, and we actually recommend it! Spending a day or two in Pokhara before the retreat allows you to rest, settle, and adjust after your travels. It’s also a chance to enjoy the lakeside town’s charm before we journey together into the Annapurna Valley.

What about staying longer after the retreat?
Absolutely. Many guests choose to extend their trip to soak up more of Nepal’s beauty. Our Nepalese hosts can help you organise accommodation in Pokhara or beyond.

Can I go trekking before or after the retreat?
Yes, our hosts are very experienced in arranging trekking tours around the Annapurna region. A 4-day Poon Hill trek is highly recommended, it’s accessible, stunning, and a wonderful way to complement the retreat experience. Longer treks can also be arranged depending on your time and interests.

Do you help with booking domestic flights (Kathmandu–Pokhara)?
Yes. While the cost of the flight is not included in the retreat price, our Nepalese hosts will happily assist you with booking your return domestic flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Payment is made directly to them.

Q: What to do after the retreat? Here is a few ideas:

Pokhara: set by the lake with a mountain backdrop, a wonderful place to unwind, shop, eat amazing food and explore. If you have the time, I’d recommend at least 1 day or more here.

Trekking options: Annapurna Circuit: Around 10–12 days, absolutely incredible for those with more time.

Poon Hill Trek: A shorter, 4-day trek with stunning views, perfect if your schedule is tighter.

Flights (Australia–Kathmandu): Qantas often has great sales with return tickets Sydney–Kathmandu are around AUD $1,200. Outside of sales, flights usually range between AUD $1,600–$2,200 for a last minute flight.

Kathmandu–Pokhara flights: Around USD $200 return, booked through our retreat venue at no extra fee.

Travel insurance: From about AUD $215+ (check if your credit card offers complimentary cover).

Accommodation before/after retreat: Comfortable hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu cost from AUD $60/night, including breakfast.

Transport: Taxi from Kathmandu airport to your hotel costs around AUD $10–$20.

Meals before/after retreat: In Pokhara you can eat well for AUD $35–$45 per day (less with local options).
