Beneath the Surface
A practical, deeply restorative masterclass series combining Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release.
Each masterclass is designed to help you unwind stress, release long-held tension, and support your body through simple, effective self-care tools. Suitable for both new and experienced yogis.
At the heart of this work is fascia, the intelligent connective web that shapes, supports, and links your entire body from head to toe. Stress, sitting for long periods, repetitive movement, injury, and travel can cause fascia to become tight and restricted, affecting circulation, mobility, and energy flow. Learning how to care for fascia improves overall movement, comfort, and recovery.
You’ll be guided through simple myofascial release techniques using therapy or tennis balls and supportive props to target common tension areas. This method helps hydrate fascial tissue, reduce pain, increase range of motion, support the nervous system, and assist injury prevention and recovery.
Yin Yoga brings it all together. Yin invites us into the deeper layers of fascia, nerves, meridians, and stored experiences. By blending sustained Yin poses with targeted myofascial release, this practice becomes both spacious and precise: releasing what’s stuck, restoring flow, experiencing ease in body and mind, creating better body awareness that you can take into daily life.
Attend the complete 5-class series or book individual masterclasses.
Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
Each class includes a brief introduction to the focus, fascia line, and related meridian, followed by an 80-minute practice. Yoga props are provided.
Superficial Front Line
Rebuilding the Shield
Posture · Confidence · Functional Strength
The Superficial Front Line supports upright posture and forward movement. Modern lifestyles, long hours sitting, repetitive training, and stress, often cause this line to collapse, contributing to neck pain, low back pain, knee issues, and restricted breathing. This class restores functional length and strength through mindful Yin and myofascial release.
Beneficial for: office workers, gym-goers, runners, young athletes, retirees, post-surgery recovery, and anyone experiencing postural collapse.
Date: Sunday 1st of March
Time: 4pm to 530pm
Location: The Gypsea Collective - 146 Ross River Rd. Mundingburra
Cost: $35 for a single class or $155 for all 5 classes
The Back Body ~ Your Anchor
Posture · Grounding · Ease
This class works with the Superficial Back Line, a continuous fascial chain from the soles of the feet to the forehead. Rather than just “tight hamstrings,” we will focus on the full back body to support posture, breathing, nervous system regulation, and a sense of grounding and stability.
Beneficial for: lower back tension, stiffness, fatigue, poor posture, stress, and feeling ungrounded.
Date: Sunday 8th of March
Time: 4pm to 530pm
Location: The Gypsea Collective - 146 Ross River Rd. Mundingburra
Cost: $35 for a single class or $155 for all 5 classes
Deep Front Line
The Core of Your Being
Breath · Stability · Grounded Presence
The Deep Front Line runs through the core of the body and supports posture, breathing, digestion, emotional regulation, and deep stability. This class gently targets the inner core, hip flexors, diaphragm, and spine to reduce compression, improve breath capacity, and create internal support.
Beneficial for: chronic hip flexor tension, shallow breathing, lower back pain, digestive discomfort, fatigue, emotional heaviness, and difficulty grounding.
Date: Sunday 15th of March
Time: 4pm to 530pm
Location: The Gypsea Collective - 146 Ross River Rd. Mundingburra
Cost: $35 for a single class or $155 for all 5 classes
Releasing the Lateral Line
Support · Balance · Lift
The Lateral Line runs along the sides of the body and plays a key role in posture, hip stability, walking mechanics, breathing, and side-to-side balance. This class targets tension along the outer legs, hips, ribs, shoulders, and neck to restore support, ease, and upright alignment.
Beneficial for: hip or knee instability, rib tightness, neck tension, uneven posture, and balance challenges.
Date: Sunday 22nd of March
Time: 4pm to 530pm
Location: The Gypsea Collective - 146 Ross River Rd. Mundingburra
Cost: $35 for a single class or $155 for all 5 classes
The Body Is a Spiral
Balance · Stability · Coordination
This masterclass focuses on the Spiral Line, a fascial line that wraps around the body and supports balance, coordinated movement, and rotational strength. Through twists and rotational Yin shapes, we work with the whole fascial chain rather than isolated muscles, improving flexibility, reducing pain, and supporting overall stability.
Beneficial for: poor balance, stiffness, asymmetry, recurring aches, and anyone wanting smoother, more coordinated movement.
Date: Sunday 29th of March
Time: 4pm to 530pm
Location: The Gypsea Collective - 146 Ross River Rd. Mundingburra
Cost: $35 for a single class or $155 for all 5 classes
